    Question

Its has been a long time since I have had a request to install a recessed 250W heat lamp in a bathroom. The ceiling is insulated. I was wondering if it was legal to install one if you built a box around it to give it extra air space as well as keep the insulation away from it. We used to do this but I can't find box size in the code book.

    Hello,
Rules 30-900 to 30-910(8) applies to installing Recessed Luminaries and also provides clearances required.
    Good luck.
